Sandman Inn McBride

Currently staying here for work all the way from MB, kitchenettes are a little outdated but its got everything I need to still cook a home cooked meal and saves money on eating out. Rooms are clean. Air conditioning works. The only real complaint I have would be the slower Internet. Would stay here again forsure.

I had a fantastic stay at the Sandman Inn in McBride! The room was incredibly clean and comfortable. The service was flawless — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The location is perfect, offering easy access to local attractions and beautiful scenery. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

The staff here is very accommodating and friendly. Given it is an older building I was shocked to see how well the rooms were cleaned. Front desk was always pleasant to speak with. Mainly workers stay at this location. There is a restaurant connected with very good breakfast options. The sausage here was some of the best breakfast sausage I've ever had. Maybe I was just really hungry but I've enjoyed every meal I've had here. The location is very convenient with 2 gas stations just across the highway.

I was driving West into BC. Needed a handy place to stay. The sandman fitted the bill. I enjoyed staying the night. Actually had a very peaceful sleep That's what counts for me Great service at the front desk

Upon check-in, the new owners acknowledged right away that the hotel needs some work, which it does. It's older and is showing its age. But that kind of overhaul takes time. So in the meantime, they're doing the best they can to provide a great place to stay. It was VERY clean both in the rooms and in the common areas, the service at the main desk was top notch, and my room had all the amenities I expected. It's also hard to beat the location right on the highway (which isn't busy, so the noise wasn't a factor). The attached restaurant was a great place to eat—great hours, excellent service, and a standard menu with plenty of options to choose from. Highly recommend staying here if you're passing through the area.

What a pleasant surprise to stay in the Sandman Inn McBride. The bed was very comfortable and room ammenities were great. You can tell by the management that they pride themselves on cleanliness and accommodate their guests with kindness and respect. Highly recommend.

Surprisingly comfortable rooms for an older motel. Our room was a good size with a queen bed with a loveseat. It’s old with some upgrades and the price is right.

This review is a month overdue. We stayed the first week of June and would recommend the hotel if you are looking for clean and affordable accommodation. Even though it is an older hotel, it is very clean and comfortable. The new managers are awesome! My friend wanted to buy one of the mugs from our kitchenette as she liked the feel of it. The lovely lady from Spain, who is one of the managers, gave her a brand new mug. Thank you so much for your kindness. We did not eat at the restaurant but heard from others that it was very good.
